ABOUT THE TREATMENT

Juvederm is an injectable made from hyaluronic acid (a natural sugar found in people’s skin, joints, eyes and cartilage) and it is a colorless gel. After it has been injected, it will add volume to the face, which will also smooth out any wrinkles or facial folds. Juvederm is an effective treatment for 9 months, or up to a year. This is the top dermal filler that is sold in the United States.

There are four different types of Juvederm treatments available, and they include:

Juvederm Ultra Plus

This treatment is injected into the skin and it smooths and softens moderate to severe wrinkles and facial folds, especially those located around the nose or mouth

Juvederm Ultra XC

This treatment is injected into the skin and it helps to smoothen and soften any superficial wrinkle around the mouth or nose

Juvederm Voluma XC

This treatment is the first FDA approved cheek volumizing gel that adds volume to your cheek area immediately

Juverderm Volbella

This treatment is injected and it restores fullness and adds shape to your lips
